The Magic Ambulance of the Portuguese Red Cross – Coimbra Delegation fulfilled another special desire on June 5th. The initiative consisted of taking Mr. Vítor to Peniche so that he could see the sea.

The Magic Ambulance is a project of the Portuguese Red Cross that aims to fulfill wishes of people in vulnerable situations or with terminal illnesses, providing them with unique and memorable experiences.

Mr. Vítor was escorted to the coastal area of Peniche, where he had the opportunity to appreciate the maritime landscape. The trip was organized specifically to satisfy this personal wish of the elderly man.

This type of action is part of the community outreach work that the Portuguese Red Cross develops with communities, seeking to contribute to the emotional well-being and quality of life of the people assisted by the institution.
