Volkswagen sells factory in northern Germany: unit will manufacture armaments

Volkswagen is selling a factory in northern Germany, which will be destined for the production of armaments. The manufacturing unit will be used to produce air defense systems and components.

The company Aurelius, in partnership with the state of Lower Saxony, plans a first strategic project in the area of air defense. This project is being developed together with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

The objective is to produce air defense systems and components destined for Germany and Europe. This initiative arises in a context of strengthening European defense capabilities.
