The Dutch pilot Loek Hartog abandoned his race in the China GT event in Shanghai, on Saturday, to help Ollie Millroy, whose Ferrari caught fire after a collision. Hartog did not hesitate to stop his car and head to the British pilot's vehicle to remove him from the burning interior. The images captured by the car camera show Hartog carrying out the rescue operation before the marshals arrived at the scene. The incident occurred during the GT competition on the Chinese track, where both pilots were participating. Hartog's act was widely praised on social media, given the personal risk the Dutch pilot assumed by approaching a burning vehicle to save his rival.
