The Preceito restaurant, located at Palmares Resort in Lagos, will host on Saturday, September 12, a dinner and live jazz evening, called Candlelight Dinner & Jazz. The event features the Gia Costa Duo and takes place in a candlelit setting, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at a price of 100 euros per person, with drinks included.
The five-course menu was designed by chef Alexandre Cabrita and focuses on sea and land products, with a strong presence of regionally sourced ingredients. The meal includes Azores tuna tartare, gaspacho and basil to start, followed by toneira squid with citrus xerém and goat butter. The main course is beef tenderloin with mushroom capeleti and salsify purée, finishing with an interpretation of the traditional abade de Priscos, served with citronella, raspberry and white chocolate.
Preceito opened in early 2026 with the aim of strengthening the gastronomic offering of the resort and deepening the connection of the kitchen to the region's products and producers. The restaurant's concept is based on contemporary author-driven cuisine, guided by seasonality, appreciation of local ingredients and connection to the Algarve territory.
