An Amazon cargo plane, operated by Prime Air, suffered an accident on Sunday at Miami International Airport, resulting in the death of five people. The aircraft was operating flight 7598 and had originated from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Authorities are investigating what caused the accident during landing. A video circulating on social media shows the critical moment of the approach to the runway, capturing the final images before the catastrophe.
Prime Air, Amazon's logistics division, confirmed the accident and expressed its condolences to the families of the victims. The number of people on board at the time of impact has not yet been officially confirmed.
