Eunice Carvalho, known as Taróloga Maya, was caught on a telephone wiretap included in the Public Prosecutor's accusation as part of the so-called "Elefante Branco case." The PSP investigation focuses on an alleged sex exploitation network at a known strip club in Lisbon.
Among the 12 defendants accused in the case are Luís Torres and Pedro Gameiro. The suspicions against the defendants include criminal association, money laundering, trafficking of persons for sexual exploitation and pimping, among other crimes.
The accounts of three companies associated with the group allegedly recorded significant financial movements between 2019 and May 2025, the period during which the scheme allegedly operated. The telephone wiretap shows Maya recruiting a luxury companion in the context of this investigation.
