The regional presidents of the Popular Party expressed this Monday their unconditional support to the president of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, after criticism from the Spanish Government. The support was expressed at the entrance of an informative breakfast organized by Nova Economía Forum, where Vivas intervened.
The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, affirmed that it is necessary to go "to the root of the problem", which according to him is the "invasion" that occurred in Ceuta, and defended that the solution is "returning all migrants to where they came from".
The migratory crisis affects the autonomous city since the massive entry of migrants on July 30. The barons of the Popular Party met to defend the management carried out to address this situation, showing unity around Vivas's position.
