Luís Kitendele, also known as Nguzu Kiami, Angolan artist residing in the Algarve, released on August 31st the new single "MULHER", already available on digital platforms. The track was initially conceived as a dedication to his wife, Vanda Valente, but ended up acquiring a broader dimension as the project developed, coming to represent women of different ages, origins and backgrounds. The song thus became a tribute to the strength, love, courage, dedication and value of women.

The artist explains that "MULHER" began from his relationship with his own wife, but as the composition evolved, it became evident that the message could reflect experiences lived by many other women. According to Luís Kitendele, the lyrics speak of the woman who loves, fights, works, cares, faces difficulties and continues, often without all that effort being properly recognized. The intention therefore became to represent different feminine realities.

Luís Kitendele's connection to music dates back to the 90s, when he was associated with projects such as Afro Man and Ebony Squad, during a phase marked by Hip Hop culture and Angolan urban music, using the stage name Kitess at the time. This was followed by a separation from musical activity for about 30 years, with his return happening through Wu Buntu Iam and, in parallel, through the beginning of a new solo journey, developed together with Vanda Valente.

The artist states that his work crosses influences from Hip Hop, Guetto Zouk, Semba, Kizomba and other African and Lusophone sounds, seeking to explore themes related to identity, family and real experiences. This new phase represents not only a return to music, but also a more personal and mature approach, centered on stories and themes related to love, family, human relationships, faith, pain and overcoming. "MULHER" emerges as one of the representative tracks of this new artistic phase.
