Sócrates, former prime minister of Portugal, filed a criminal complaint against Rosário Teixeira, magistrate of the Public Ministry. The complaint targets what is described as a "notorious contradiction" committed by the magistrate during the trial of an administrative action. The former government official believes that Rosário Teixeira acted in a contradictory manner in the exercise of her duties, which forms the basis for the criminal complaint filed. In addition to the complaint, Sócrates also requested the removal of Rosário Teixeira from any investigation involving him, a request that stems directly from the same reasons that motivated the criminal complaint.
