Mota-Engil signs 178 million euro contract for works in Mozambique

Mota-Engil África celebrated a contract worth 207 million dollars, approximately 178 million euros, for the execution of preparatory works in a project located in Afungi, province of Cabo Delgado, in Mozambique.

The announcement was made by the Portuguese construction and engineering company itself, detailing the value and nature of the contract signed.

The project is located in the region of Afungi, an area of the northern province of Cabo Delgado, which has been the scene of various economic development initiatives in the country.

This contract represents a new project for the Mota-Engil group in Mozambican territory, expanding the presence of the Portuguese company in the construction sector in Africa.
