Warning sirens are being installed at the Cabril and Bouçã dams. These devices aim to alert populations in case of emergency or flood.

The installation of an Observation and Control Post near the Bouçã reservoir is also planned. This post will allow monitoring of dam conditions and coordination of emergency actions.

The measure is part of a set of security and surveillance actions for hydraulic infrastructure, aimed at protecting communities living in areas adjacent to the dams.
