A 67-year-old man, of Portuguese nationality, was rescued after being caught off guard by strong sea currents while swimming in the coastal area of Isla Cristina, a Spanish town located in the province of Huelva, in Andalusia. The incident occurred when the swimmer found himself in difficulty in the water, unable to return to the beach on his own.
