The two pilots involved were Ollie Millroy and Loek Hartog. Hartog was the one who risked his own life to save Millroy from the vehicle that was on fire after the accident.

On social media, Ollie Millroy publicly thanked Loek Hartog for saving his life, acknowledging the danger the Dutchman faced to pull him out of the burning car.

The incident highlights the solidarity between competitors in motorsport, with Millroy stating that he owes his life to Hartog's gesture.
