The Leiria Municipal Council is to reinforce the water supply to Pedrógão and Ervedeira beaches through a construction project worth approximately 1.6 million euros. This intervention aims to improve water supply to these coastal areas of the municipality.
The works included the construction of 12.8 kilometres of new pipeline, which will reinforce the water distribution capacity in these beaches. Additionally, three existing reservoirs in the region were rehabilitated.
This project is part of a broader effort to improve water and sanitation infrastructure in the Leiria district, ensuring better conditions for residents and visitors during the bathing season.
