Ozempic, a diet "imposed" by poor food, depression in prison... Speculation took over the internet after TV Globo's "Fantástico" aired images this Sunday (the 6th) of Glaidson Acácio dos Santos, the Bitcoin Pharaoh, giving testimony in court. He was heard for the case in which he and his wife, Mirelis Yoseline Diaz Zerpa, will be tried for crimes against the financial system.

Both are imprisoned, and according to authorities, they moved more than 38 billion reais in a scheme that may have left 77,000 victims. The businessman, who has been behind bars for five years, appeared much thinner. Ironically, he admitted to being a cryptocurrency "whale," a nickname for investors who hold amounts of assets sufficient to influence market prices.
