The campaign of Bolsonaro, PL candidate for President of the Republic, initiates this week an offensive against President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). The objective is to seek at least a conviction of the leftist for abuse of political and economic power.
If the TSE convicts Lula for this type of infraction, the president could become ineligible for a period of 8 years. This would occur regardless of the October election results.
