Giant allegorical floats decorated with 400,000 dahlias traveled through the streets of Zundert, in the Netherlands, during the traditional annual flower parade. The enormous florally-ornamented structures crossed the town before crowds of spectators who gathered to watch the event.
The event is entirely built by volunteers over several months of work. The dahlias, cultivated specifically for the parade, are carefully applied to the allegorical floats to create impressive and detailed compositions.
