JoCleta Wilson turned 101 and maintains a surprising routine for her age: she works as a cashier at a Home Depot store in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The elderly woman works two or three morning shifts, from 6am to 10am, and drives her own vehicle to get to work and go shopping.

JoCleta's decision to keep working is not only due to financial need. She has already retired three times, each for a period of 10 years, and says retirement wasn't as wonderful as it seemed. In an interview with American media WAVE News, she stated that she got very tired of herself during the periods of inactivity.

Outside the store, JoCleta maintains remarkable independence, living alone and taking care of her daily activities autonomously. She says she feels like she's 39 years old, demonstrating a disposition and vitality that impresses many younger people.
