The Association of Friends of the Diaspora and Madeiran Emigrants (AADEM) announced today that it plans to distribute 240 tons of humanitarian aid to Luso-Venezuelans affected by the double earthquake in August.
The humanitarian aid was raised in Portugal and will be distributed in the coming weeks to the Portuguese communities in Venezuela that were affected by the earthquakes.
AADEM is an association that represents Madeiran emigrants and is coordinating this humanitarian support operation to help citizens of Portuguese origin rebuild their lives after the natural disaster.
