Portugal already has five master's in management in the Financial Times "ranking"

Portugal now has five master's in management programs in the Financial Times ranking, which evaluates the best programs of this type worldwide. This number represents an increase compared to the four programs the country had in the previous edition of the ranking.

The Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) made its debut on this prestigious list of the British newspaper, occupying 59th place. This is a significant debut for the Portuguese institution in the Financial Times ranking.

Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) master's program achieved second place in the ranking, being the best result ever for a Portuguese school in this type of program. This achievement consolidates the institution's position as one of the European references in management education.

Católica do Porto recorded the biggest rise among Portuguese schools in the ranking, demonstrating a remarkable evolution in the quality of its master's program in management.

End of fuel support puts public transport service at risk, says ANTROP

The National Association of Passenger Transport (ANTROP) warned that the end of extraordinary fuel support puts the continuity of road public transport at risk, estimating an impact of 15 million euros in the sector between July and September. The association argues that the monthly subsidy of 420 euros per eligible heavy vehicle, granted by the Government for three months, should be extended while exceptional conditions persist in the fuel market. According to ANTROP, the increase of about 0.289 euros per liter in diesel compared to the pre-crisis level translates into significant financial burden. The association recalls that the 74 member companies are bound by public service contracts that prevent immediate reflection of increases in fares, warning that the lack of compensation may compromise the economic viability of companies and compliance with contracted services.
