Less than a month from the first round of elections, September 7th will be used by presidential campaigns as a showcase of strategies for the final stretch of the race. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) will use the official parade in Brasilia to reinforce his campaign flags for reelection, including the defense of national sovereignty and combat violence against women.
Flavio Bolsonaro (PL) will be on Paulista Avenue amid a new offensive against Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), driven by the revelation of messages sent to the magistrate by banker Daniel Vorcaro.
Due to the court's wear, STF ministers who attended the parade in previous years, such as Alexandre de Moraes, Gilmar Mendes, and Cristiano Zanin, are expected to be absent from the event in Brasilia.
Lula intends to resume the defense of sovereignty two weeks before traveling to the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, where there is a possibility of addressing themes related to the international agenda.
