Parque Infante Dom Pedro, in Aveiro, hosted the Estação Brasil event, a free initiative that celebrated Brazil's Independence Day. The event took place between 12h and 22h, transforming the park into a stage of Brazilian-ness with music, gastronomy and culture.

The venue offered typical gastronomy from various regions of Brazil, a craft market, a children's area and live performances. The musical programming included artists and groups representing the country's sonic diversity, with samba, forró, choro, MPB, batuque and other rhythms that are part of Brazilian cultural identity.

Estação Brasil positions itself as a gathering of flavors, rhythms and affection, promoting the approximation between cultures and contributing to the integration of migrant communities. The event reinforces the connection between Aveiro and the Brazilian community residing in the region, valuing interculturality and diversity.

The initiative also highlights the contribution of migrant communities to the cultural, economic and social life of the municipality, boosting Parque Infante Dom Pedro as an emblematic green space of the city and reinforcing Aveiro as an open and culturally active territory.
