Black Eyed Peas wrote another chapter in their long relationship with Brazil on Sunday (6), performing their second show at Rock in Rio's Palco Mundo. The American pop and hip hop group, which has already performed more than 20 times in the country, including a memorable one on Ipanema beach in 2007, took the stage with an evident connection to the Brazilian audience.

The show started with "Let's get it started!", the hit that helped consolidate the group's worldwide fame. Even under torrential rain at the City of Rock, the audience surrendered and kept on dancing. Will.i.am, apl.de.ap, J. Rey Soul and Taboo responded with "Boom boom pow" and "Rock that body".

J. Rey Soul's participation, the Filipino-American singer who inherited Fergie's spot in the group, was highlighted as excellent during the performance of "Ritmo". The group kept the audience moving throughout the entire show, combining their greatest hits with the characteristic charisma that has marked their history in Brazil.
