The Black Eyed Peas show at Rock in Rio took place this Sunday (6), at Cidade do Rock, at the Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. During the presentation on the Mundo Stage, there were several references to Brazilian culture.

Brazilian DJ Papatinho went on stage during the show and played several classic funks. Among the songs played were "Eu só quero é ser feliz", a classic by Cidinho & Doca, and "Árvore seca", by MC Cula. Papatinho's entrance drove the crowd crazy.

will.i.am stated during the presentation that he loves national music. The artist also recalled that he has already performed in several Brazilian cities, including Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Bahia and São Paulo.

After his participation, Papatinho declared: "These guys really love Brazil. These guys here are f***ing awesome." The comment highlighted the affection demonstrated by the American group towards Brazilian culture and audience during the festival.
