The samba "Oyá Por Nós" was chosen to soundtrack the parade of the Estação Primeira de Mangueira at Carnival 2027, representing a victory that Daniela Mercury celebrated in various ways. On Saturday night, at the school's headquarters, the Bahian singer split her time between the stage, where she defended the composition, the Mangueira community, and meetings with people who participated in the celebration.
The Palácio do Samba headquarters was packed during the final of the samba-enredo competition, which ended with the selection of the partnership formed by Lequin and other composers. Daniela Mercury was present throughout the entire celebration, alternating moments on stage, where she presented the samba, and in the middle of the audience.
After the selection, in the early hours of Sunday morning, the artist took the celebration to social media. In a sequence of images posted on Instagram, Daniela appears in different moments from the night, including recordings in the middle of the crowd, alongside friends and partners from the competition, as well as moments in front of the microphone during the presentation that helped boost the samba to victory.
