Eight Muslim-majority countries condemned today the calls made by Israeli ministers to expel the Palestinian population from the Gaza Strip.
The proposals were made by Israeli ministers and aimed at the forced displacement of Gaza's inhabitants to other territories.
The countries signatories to the condemnation are Muslim-majority and expressed unanimous opposition to any plan that implies the expulsion of Palestinians from their lands.
The condemnation comes at a time of great tension in the region, with the international community closely following the evolution of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
