oglobo6 September 2026 at 18:45

The official Rock in Rio app reported that ride scheduling is suspended due to weather conditions. The alert was issued in the early afternoon of this Sunday (6), and there is still no forecast for the service's return. Among the rides available at the festival are the Giant Wheel, Zip Line, Discovery, Mega Download and Roller Coaster.

The rain poncho continues to be an essential accessory for festival-goers this weekend. The weather forecast from the Alerta Rio system, run by the city government, indicates unstable weather with strong winds. The bad weather followed after the passage of a cold front that began on Saturday.

On the third day of the event, the audience could watch performances by Calvin Harris and Black Eyed Peas on the Mundo Stage, as well as Ne-Yo and Jota Quest on the Sunset Stage. The sky will remain unstable even after the passage of the cold front that hit the location.
