A total of 66 migrants were intercepted on Sunday after managing to reach the waters of the Balearic Islands aboard three pateras. Two of these vessels arrived on the island of Cabrera and one on the island of Mallorca. The authorities managed to intercept all the migrants before they could advance further inland. This operation represents another arrival of irregular vessels to the Spanish islands in the Mediterranean.
