The Ethnographic Procession "Men of the Sea" takes place on September 12 at 3:00 PM, through the streets of Vila Praia de Âncora, as part of the program of the Feast in Honour of Our Lady of Bonança.

The procession is considered one of the most emblematic moments of the festivities and aims to celebrate the identity and cultural heritage of the municipality of Caminha, bringing together parishes, associations, groups and participants in an initiative that brings local customs, costumes, knowledge and traditions to life.

Along the route, participants are invited to preserve and represent different aspects of the history and culture of the municipality, contributing to keeping alive memories and ways of living that are part of the collective identity of local communities.

The municipality of Caminha joins, once again, the Festivities Committee in organizing this initiative, reinforcing the invitation for the entire community to participate. Community involvement is considered essential to valuing cultural heritage and ensuring the transmission of traditions to new generations.
