The CBF will define on next Thursday (10), at 11am (Brasília time), at the entity's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, the home advantage for the semifinal matches of the Copa do Brasil 2026. The draw will determine which team will play at home in the first matchup of each bracket.
Atlético-MG, the first team to advance, will face Grêmio in the semifinal. Both teams progressed by eliminating state rivals in the quarterfinals: the Galo defeated Cruzeiro, while the Tricolor Gaúcho eliminated Internacional.
The other semifinal will be contested between Palmeiras and Vasco. The Verdão advanced by defeating Santos in the São Paulo derby in the quarterfinals, while the Cruzmaltino overcame Vitória to secure their spot in the next round.
The semifinals are scheduled to be played in home and away legs between November 1st and 8th. The CBF will announce the exact dates, times, and venues after the home advantage is determined. The final of the competition will be played in a single match.
