The Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Castellón intervened in Benicàssim to carry out the rescue of two hikers in the high area of Les Agulles de Santa Águeda. The alert was received at 2:53 PM on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred when a woman suffered a fall while hiking through the mountainous area. The hiker was injured due to the impact of the fall.
The provincial firefighters moved to the location to provide assistance to the two hikers. The intervention aimed at the recovery and evacuation of the victims from the difficult-to-access area in Les Agulles.
The rescue took place during Sunday afternoon, mobilizing the emergency services of the province of Castellón to that mountainous area of Benicàssim.
