IP Património transfers to the municipality of Cantanhede the use of a land belonging to the railway public domain. The land is located on the deactivated Figueira da Foz branch line, between kilometers 35.280 and 35.580, near the old station.
This transfer will allow the municipality to proceed with the project to create a multimodal interface in that area. The goal is to transform the space into a transport infrastructure that integrates different mobility modes.
The agreement between IP Património and the Municipal Council of Cantanhede formalizes the transfer of responsibilities regarding the land, allowing the municipality to exploit and develop the site for public interest purposes.
