The yellow warning will be in effect between 9 am on Monday, September 7, and 6 pm on Tuesday, September 8, making it a period of approximately 33 hours.
The areas covered by the warning are the south coast of the island of Madeira and the entirety of the island of Porto Santo, both regions belonging to Portuguese territory.
