Ricardo Ribeiro detailed the damages caused by an extreme weather phenomenon that hit several locations in the region. The most affected areas include Branca, Albergaria-a-Nova and Curval, where flooding, fallen trees and significant material damage were recorded.
The consequences of the storm included destruction to roofs and vehicles, caused by large hailstones that fell on these localities. The force of the bad weather also caused flooding and fallen trees in the most vulnerable areas.
Despite the violence of the phenomenon, Ricardo Ribeiro highlighted a positive aspect: there were no injured or displaced people as a result of the storm. This absence of victims represents the only consolation in a scenario of great material damage.
