Pedro Tochas cancels show at Commedia a La Carte Fest

Pedro Tochas cancelled his show at the Commedia a La Carte Fest, the new humor festival arriving in Lisbon. The Portuguese comedian made this decision in protest against Jerry Seinfeld being the headliner of the event.

The first edition of the Lisbon International Humor Festival will take place between October 29 and November 1. The event features American comedian Jerry Seinfeld as headliner.

Jerry Seinfeld has publicly expressed his support for Israel, which prompted Pedro Tochas's reaction. The Portuguese comedian thus decided to cancel his participation in the festival in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Mangueira and Mocidade define their samba-enredos for 2027 Carnival; listen

Mocidade presented a samba paying homage to Latin America, with Majur participating in the final. The previous day, Portela had already chosen its samba paying homage to Monarco.

Macaé hosts 15th Culture and Gastronomy Festival

Macaé hosts the 15th edition of the Culture and Gastronomy Festival at the Praia dos Cavaleiros waterfront, from Wednesday (9) to Sunday (13).
