The Abraço de Gerações program was presented this Wednesday at Alma Shopping, introducing itself to the public at an event that took place at that commercial space.

Students and seniors who already participate and are integrated into the program were present, demonstrating in practice how this intergenerational initiative works.

Abraço de Gerações is a program that promotes connections between generations, bringing together young students and elderly people through shared activities.

Middle East: Lebanese President denounces "dangerous escalation" by Israel against south Lebanon

The Lebanese President, Joseph Aoun, condemned Israel's Sunday attacks on Nabatieh and neighboring cities in the south of the country, which killed at least four people and wounded 20, denouncing a "dangerous escalation" that targeted state institutions and medical centers, including the Finance Ministry building in Nabatieh and Ghandour hospital. Aoun stated that the bombings go beyond violations of the ceasefire agreement and the June framework agreement, holding Israel fully responsible for the escalation and urging the United States and the international community to take measures to stop the violence. Israel justified the attacks as a response to the launch of two drones by Hezbollah against Israeli soldiers in the "security zone" in southern Lebanon.
