Faro names the track after Artur Lara Ramos

Faro's athletics track is now called Artur Lara Ramos, in a ceremony of posthumous tribute to the sports official who passed away at the end of last year. The decision to assign Lara Ramos's name to this sports infrastructure aims to recognize the official's contribution to the development of athletics in the region. Artur Lara Ramos was a prominent figure in Algarve sports, having dedicated much of his life to the promotion and organization of sporting activities. This numerous comes after a term marked by initiatives that strengthened local sports practice.
