Cabo Verde experienced one of the most painful nights in its history, after a tragic bus accident that caused the death of 25 people. Nearly two dozen injured were also recorded as a result of the incident.
Among the fatalities are several young people and children, who were on a school trip. The accident involved a bus transporting students.
Seven of the victims have already been buried, in a moment of great pain for the families and for the country.
Authorities continue to investigate the exact circumstances that led to the accident, which shocked the Cape Verdean nation.
