Around 30 people arrived by boat at Sesimbra beach and managed to escape authorities. The arrival happened in the early hours of this Sunday, with a fisherman raising the alert at dawn.
Authorities immediately triggered search operations, both at sea and on land, to locate the individuals who managed to flee. Searches are ongoing to identify and intercept the people involved.
