Actress Inês Aires Pereira decided not to bring the show "Namasté" to the Commedia a La Carte Fest in Lisbon. The artist publicly stated that Jerry Seinfeld's position on Israel is behind her decision, considering that she does not want to "normalize a genocide". This is already the fourth cancellation announced for the festival, which has been facing several withdrawals. Pereira's decision comes in a context of growing pressure on public figures to take a stance on the conflict in Gaza.
