A 28-year-old man was assaulted on this Sunday morning, September 6, at 6:50 a.m., on Avenida Sá Carneiro, in Funchal. The Voluntários Madeirenses Firefighters were called to the scene and mobilized an ambulance to provide assistance to the victim.

The man presented facial injuries and was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital, where he received medical treatment.
