Fire in vehicle at Via Rápida exit resulted only in material damage

A fire broke out in a light vehicle on Sunday morning, at the exit of the Via Rápida in Câmara de Lobos, immediately after the Ponte dos Socorridos bridge. The Voluntary Firefighters of Câmara de Lobos were called to the scene and mobilized eight operatives supported by three vehicles to fight the flames. The corporation managed to quickly control the fire and extinguish the flames. No injuries resulted from the incident, with only significant material damage to the vehicle being recorded.
