The Raízes Vivas festival will return to Jardim das Portas do Sol on September 25th and 26th, having grown from one to two days of duration. The event is dedicated to gastronomy, agriculture, music and traditional crafts, featuring this year the participation of 18 chefs, more than 120 producers, artisans and economic agents.
The investment in this festival is 100 thousand euros from the Regional Tourism Entity, which aims to position Ribatejo as a reference gastronomic and cultural destination. The organization has already expressed its intention to expand this initiative to other parts of Ribatejo.
The festival takes place in the Ribatejo region, an area recognized for its gastronomic and agricultural richness. The programming brings together kitchen professionals, local producers and artisans in a single space, promoting the appreciation of traditional products and knowledge of the region.
