The Local Police of Castellón intervened during the early hours of Saturday in the rescue of a man who was in the sea. The rescue was made possible thanks to the action of a citizen who dressed as a hero to help the person in danger, after an argument with his partner.
The incident was reported through an emergency call received at 00:50 hours at the Integrated Municipal Center for Security and Emergencies (CIMSE), which is based at the Local Police Headquarters of Castellón.
Local authorities were mobilized to the scene after the alert, where the man was successfully rescued from the waters. The citizen who actively participated in the rescue demonstrated a supportive and courageous attitude during the early morning hours.
The man had entered the sea after an argument with his partner, which prompted the emergency intervention by Castellón's municipal security services.
