The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts for this Sunday mostly clear or partly cloudy weather across mainland Portugal, although with more cloud cover on the western coastal area of the country.

IPMA also announced a drop in temperatures in the North and Centre regions, which should experience significant cooling compared to previous days.

Suspended dust is expected in the atmosphere, which may affect air quality and visibility in some areas of the territory.

During the morning, there is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the North and Centre regions, although the rest of the day is expected to be clear in most areas of the mainland.
