Praça da República in Alandroal was the stage on Saturday night, September 5th, for a concert by The Gift, one of the highlights of the Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of the Conception. The evening began with the performance of the Tuna from the Popular University Túlio Espanca – Alandroal Branch, with the band from Alcobaça providing a show marked by their musical identity and tracks that span various phases of the group's career.
After the concert, the entertainment continued at Praça da República with the traditional dance of the Rapazes da Vila (Village Boys), keeping the audience in a festive atmosphere throughout the night. Simultaneously, Alandroal Castle hosted another night of the Youth Festival, with Sampa Experience, Mastiksoul & Guests and DJ T & Rebocho Percussion ensuring the musical entertainment.
The festivities continued on Sunday, September 6th, with bullfighting at 6:00 PM and, in the evening, the "Filarmónica Extravagante" show at Praça da República, which brought together Uxu Kalhus and the Philharmonic Band of Alandroal's Cultural Center. The entertainment then moved to the Castle, where Jorge Nunes was responsible for the traditional dance at midnight and DJ Rastilho provided the music from 1:30 AM onwards.
The Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of the Conception ended on Monday, September 7th, with a nighttime garraiada (amateur bullfighting event) at the Joel Felizardo Rosado Bullring at 9:00 PM. Over five days, Alandroal transformed into a meeting point between tradition and entertainment, through a program that combines concerts by national artists, electronic music, religious celebrations, bullfighting, culture and sports.
