The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) placed seven districts of mainland Portugal under yellow warning until 21:00 on Monday. This meteorological warning is due to the forecast of high maximum temperature values in these regions.
The yellow warning is the second lowest level on a three-level scale of meteorological danger. During this period, maximum temperatures should exceed the normal values for this time of year.
