Rock in Rio 2026 takes place this Sunday (6) with big names on the main Mundo and Sunset stages, such as Calvin Harris, Black Eyed Peas, Nelly, Barão Vermelho, Ne-Yo, Jota Quest, Baianasystem, and Calema. However, the festival is not limited to these two stages, also offering programming at five other venues: New Dance Order, Espaço Favela, Global Village, Supernova, and Highway Stage.
One of the highlights on Sunday is Bento Gil's show inviting Flor Gil at the Global Village, at 3 PM. The two are cousins, grandchildren of singer Gilberto Gil, and represent the new generation of the Gil family in music.
Both artists present their own original works. Bento Gil brings "Silêncio azul" and Flor Gil presents "Cinema love," as well as versions of classics. The performance at the Global Village promises to bring together the musical tradition of the Gil family with the original production of the new generation.
