The American metalcore band Bad Omens closed the Sunset Stage lineup on the second day of Rock in Rio, taking the stage 5 minutes late. The group, led by singer Noah Sebastian, opened the show with the song "Specter," but it was the second track, "Glass Houses," that got the audience into the rhythm of the show.
One of the band's most well-known songs came next. "The Death of Peace of Mind" addresses the theme of how a toxic relationship can consume one's mental sanity, a personal subject for Sebastian, who in 2024 canceled several shows and took a brief break citing extreme burnout.
Sebastian is considered a talent of his generation. Behind the all-black look, the scowl, and the swept-back hair in a delta wing style, he writes and produces most of the band's songs. The singer also revealed being a fan of anime, having mentioned that he loves "Naruto."
