Calvin Harris is the headliner at Rock in Rio's Palco Mundo this Sunday. The Scottish DJ gained worldwide recognition over the years, but he didn't always go by that name. At 18 years old, in 2002, he released "Da Bongos" and "Brighter Days" under the stage name Stouffer, marking his first commercial work.
The two tracks were released in physical formats, such as 12-inch single and CD-EP, when Harris was still taking his first steps in music. However, the Stouffer phase didn't last long. In 2004, the artist appeared credited as Calvin Harris on the song "Let me know," featuring singer Ayah Marar, included on the compilation Electric Soul, Vol. 2, by duo The Unabombers.
From then on, the name Calvin Harris began to gain prominence, and the artist started releasing his own productions, following a successful career that led him to Rock in Rio's Palco Mundo.
